Bonfire Engineering Recruitment are retained in the recruitment of a Senior Chemical Process Engineer for a permanent opportunity focussing on process design development on capital process equipment at our clients northern facility in Derbyshire, UK.
This Senior Process Engineer will take responsibility for the process design and the scope would include the preparation and checking of the following during the FEED and Detailed Design phase of an EPC contract:
- Basis of Design
- Heat and Mass Balance
- Process Flow Diagram
- Material Selection Diagram
- Control Philosophy
- Equipment Sizing Calculations
- Process input into all engineering deliverables where applicable
- Demonstrable experience in process optimisation
- Aspen Plus technical competence
- Experience in process commissioning (although the role will be predominantly office based).
- IChemE chartership status
